However, we urge Southeast Michigan homeowners and property managers to consider our tree pruning service every 2 – 5 years, depending on the tree size. We don’t recommend pruning during the warmer months due to the stress it places on trees.

Tree pruning is typically done from November 1 to March 31 because:

• Trees don’t actively grow during the winter, allowing them to heal quickly.
• Trees become dormant once the leaves completely fall off.
